How can I find out if my offer to a foreclosure went through to Countrywide and the status of the offer? ?

I put an offer on a foreclosure last week and want to make sure my real estate agent sent it to Countrywide. I have tried calling every number at countrywide and was finally given the number to the REO department, which is what I need. Unfortunately, the number is only an info number and not useful in finding out the status of an offer or even if the offer was sent. How can I find this information out? How long does it usually take to find out if Countrywide has accepted or refused an offer for a foreclosure? Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks!
