Where are people getting info on rebates when using H&R Block RAC's?
A lot of people on here have been saying if you filed a RAC direct deposit through H & R Block then you will have a paper check. Some of you are calling H&R Block and they are supposely telling you that you will be mailed a paper check if you used an RAC even if it was direct deposited in your account. I do not think this is true. I called the H&R Block hotline this morning and all it said was “if you deposited your refund on the card you will get a paper check.” I have searched all over Irs.gov and it does not say anything about using H& R Block. It actually tells you “Taxpayers can use IRS e-file through paid preparers or over-the-counter software. It’s the fastest way to process your tax return, which means it’s the quickest way for you to receive your refund and your economic stimulus payment.” H & R Block has been telling different people different things. If you want to know for sure. Call the IRS. I will be on Monday.
